Having trouble logging into the Member Portal?
Most login problems can be resolved quickly. Please follow the instructions below before contacting the SCP Softball administration.
IMPORTANT — Don't Keep Trying
The Member Portal keeps track of unsuccessful login attempts using information stored in your web browser. If you enter the wrong credentials consecutively five times,
your account will become disabled. If you are unsure of your user ID or password, do not continue guessing.

IF YOU FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD
On the member login page:
- Click the 'Recover credentials' button.
- On the next page, enter the email address associated with your account.
- You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Follow the instructions.
- Return to the member portal login page and log in using your new password.
Do not continue trying different passwords.
Your account will be locked.
IF YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DISABLED
If you have already made several unsuccessful login attempts and your account is locked, you will need to clear the SCP Softball data file website cookies from your browser. These access data files
are located on your device, inside your web browser, so there is nothing the Softball Club can do to "fix" things. You will need to follow the directions for the specific web browser you use.

YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS NOT BEING ACCEPTED
Both the 'Recover Credentials' and the 'Request Account' pages validate the email address you enter against the master Softball Club member database. We may have set up your email
incorrectly due to a transcription error or some other reason, so your actual email address can't be validated.
This is NOT an issue you can fix on your own. The Club's website administration will need to correct your email address in the database before you can proceeed. Please click the
button below to send an email to the Club. Be sure to include:
- Your name
- The issue and/or page you are stuck on
- The VALID email address you want the Club to use

YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS HAS CHANGED
If you have changed your email address and no longer want to use the old address as your login ID (or no longer want to receive Club emails at the old address), we can make that change for you.
This is NOT an issue you can fix on your own. The Club's website administration will need to update your email address in the database. Please click the
button below to send an email to the Club. Be sure to include:
- Your name
- Explain that you want to update the email address the Club has on file.
- The VALID email address you want the Club to use
We will update our database and send an account recovery link to the new email address so you can reset your password.

If you have made serveral unsuccessful login attempts and your account is disabled, you can remove the SCP Softball website data from your iPhone by following the following steps:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap Apps.
- Scroll down and tap Safari.
- Scroll down and tap Advanced.
- Tap Website Data.
- Use the Search box at the top and key in: scpsoftball
- Look for the scpsoftball.org website in the results.
- Tap Edit at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the red minus (–) button next to the SCP Softball website.
- Tap Delete to remove the website data.
- Tap Edit again to return to the Website Data screen.
- Close the settings app
- Close Safari completely and reopen it.
- Return to the SCP Softball Member Portal and try logging in again using your correct password.

CHROME BROWSER

- Mac or Windows desktop using Chrome browser
If you have made serveral unsuccessful login attempts and your account is disabled, you can remove the SCP Softball website data from Google Chrome by following the following steps:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click the three dots (⋮) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Select Privacy and security on the left menu.
- Select Third-party cookies.
- Select See all site data and permissions.
- In the search box, type: scpsoftball
- Find the SCP Softball website in the results and click the trash can to delete its stored data.
- Click the Delete button in the confirmation dialog box.
- Close Chrome completely.
- Reopen Chrome and return to the SCP Softball Member Portal.
- Try logging in again using your correct password.

MS EDGE BROWSER
If you have made serveral unsuccessful login attempts and your account is disabled, you can remove the SCP Softball website data from MS Edge by following the following steps:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three dots (⋯) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Select Privacy, search, and services on the left side.
- Scroll down to the Cookies section.
- Select See all cookies and site data.
- In the search box, type: scpsoftball
- Find the SCP Softball website in the results (there may be multiple entries).
- Click the down arrow next to the listed website(s) and select Delete or click on the trashcan icon.
- Close Edge completely.
- Reopen Edge and return to the SCP Softball Member Portal.
- Try logging in again using your correct password.
